According topmost priority to Women welfare, the Yogi Adityanath government has been taking dedicated steps ensuring all-round Empowerment and uplift of women. In line with the vision, with Rs 150 crore, the government will solemnise the marriage of poor girls belonging to Other Backward Classes.

It may be mentioned here that the has been allocating funds and provides grants for the marriage of poor girls of Backward Classes. The grant is provided by the State Backward Classes Welfare department on applications submitted by any family belonging to the Backward Class seeking to avail of the grant amount. So far, the state government has provided grants of Rs 771 crore to 3,85,514 beneficiaries under the marriage grant scheme.

In the order issued by the department, it has been stated that the benefit of the scheme should be provided as per the prescribed rules and following the instructions completely. The officials must inform the government by the 10th of every month that the amount has been spent under this head. Non-compliance with this will be treated as an irregularity.

Also, the sanctioned amount will not be used for any other work under any circumstances and the remaining amount will have to be deposited in the treasury at the end of the financial year.

In this regard, instructions will be given by the director, Backward Classes Welfare department to the officers concerned in all the districts and divisions to take necessary action.

IIT Indore, in PARTNERSHIP with NASA-Caltech and the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, has designed an inexpensive camera setup that can capture multispectral images of four chemical species in a flame using a single DSLR camera. Previously, capturing such images required a complicated system with four cameras, but this new setup can simultaneously capture multiple spectral three-dimensional images of four chemical species in a flame using only one DSLR camera.

After almost three years of research, a team of five researchers collaborated with the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and NASA-Caltech in the USA to create the CL-Flam, a low-cost DSLR camera device. The device was developed at a cost of approximately Rs 50,000

HDFC Bank, the leading private sector bank in India, has signed a Master Inter Bank Credit Agreement with the Export-Import Bank of Korea, with a total value of US $300 million. The signing ceremony took place in GIFT City, Gujarat, and aims to help HDFC Bank raise foreign currency funds, which will be used to support Korea-related businesses
